BOINC is a program that lets you donate your idle computer time to science projects such as those listed below. To run the program you need to download and install the BOINC software from from
Once done, the software will ask you to choose a project to attach to. Obviously you can choose any project(s) you like, but those projects with pre-existing twofo teams are listed below. You can attach to as many projects you like and BOINC will distribute your computer's time between them at whatever ratio you desire. Finally, once attached simply go to the link for the team as listed below, sign into the website and add your credit to twofo by joining.

BOINC twofo teams

BOINC Stats:
Cross project BOINC statistics
Twofo Team:
Combined BOINC statistics across all projects, as well as the Account Manager function which is useful to control BOINC if you run it on several machines.
