My IP has been blocked. The reason was

You are being kicked because: u just wont fucking listen! CHANGE FUCKING CLIENT!

I am sorry, but I don't know what the statement means. Could you elaborate.

Most likely means you are using a very old client. Download and install the latest version from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/dcpl ... e?download

Also, sending a pm to one of the ops/moderators would have been a better plan.

When you've updated, send me a message over the forums with your IP and nick from twofo and I'll unban them

that's a bit of a harsh message to someone who is perhaps new to this kind of thing...

also if u have an old client why would u be new to DC++??? that would indicate u had used it previously!!

People do. They get their client when they first arrive (say 3 years ago) and simply never upgrade

How someone can someone not understand that their DC++ client is out of date?!! I made it perfectly clear that they were using an old version and even gave them the link to the latest client!!! Also I pm'ed them ages before I started kicking for it so they had a chance to update! I mean all they've gotta do is click on the link and install the file...how hard can it be!

WTF are such noobs doin on DC++... DC++ is not rocket science and "Change Client" really isn't the hardest sentence either.. not even non-native english speakers could possible not understand that!! If u dont know wat a client the statement means I'm tempted to suggest u dont use DC++... might be too dangerous knowing the many wrong things u might manage to accomplish... this is almost worth of a panmaster star!
