A social would be good, although with work and Meta I'm not sure how much (other than Meta) I'd be able to attend.

Speaking of work... I should probably be writing MatLab for my multimedia coursework at the moment. Oh well.

OK. I've checked my diary, and the best dates for a social for me are:

- This weekend (impractical as no notice has been been given)
- 16th - 17th February
- 23rd - 24th February (i.e. Metamorphosis)
- 9th - 10th March (least preferred, but possible)

What do you guys thing is the best out of these?

Holding the social on the weekend of Meta and going to it as a group I'm sure is going to put people off from going (I feel a bit selfish saying actually it, but I'm sure that not *everybody* will want to go there)
Why not the main social on the weekend before or afterwards, and a Meta social at Meta itself for those that want to go?

Which date it is doesn't really bother me given my oh so busy schedule at present
